The Process

Submit a project application to FORHA using the online form by clicking here.

Note: If you live in The Arbors, Elkhorn Ridge, Enclave, Front Gate, Raintree Woods, River Valley, Setterfeld Estates, Stone Creek Ranch, or Trailside, please contact your subdivision’s HOA for instructions on how to submit your project plans.  Once you have received approval from your subdivision HOA/management company, move on to Step 4.

The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) for your area will evaluate whether the project meets your restrictions.

Tip: Restrictions are found on our website by clicking here.  If you don't know which unit you're in, you can request a set of restrictions be emailed to you by submitting the form found here. 

Within 30 days, you will be notified whether your project application has been approved or disapproved by the ARC.  If your project was approved, move on to Step 4.  If your project was disapproved, modify your plans and start at Step 1.

Once your project has been approved by your management company or your unit Restrictions Committee (Steps 1-3), apply for a building permit with the City of Fair Oaks Ranch.  Permit application forms can be found on their website here.  A fee may be required.  Contact the city at (210) 698-0900 if you have questions.

Once you have plan approval and a building permit from the city, proceed with your project!
